TVCC to Host Accreditation Visit in October
TREASURE VALLEY COMMUNITY COLLEGE TO HOST ACCREDITATION VISIT IN OCTOBER
Public invited to submit comments to accrediting body through Oct. 9
ONTARIO, Ore. (July 16, 2026) - Treasure Valley Community College (TVCC) is scheduled for a Fall 2026 Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) Year-Seven Comprehensive Evaluation of Institutional Effectiveness (EIE) visit from Oct. 19-21, 2026.
Conducted every seven years, this evaluation is required by NWCCU, an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, and represents the most comprehensive self-evaluation an institution undertakes before its accreditation is reaffirmed.
TVCC is currently an institution in good standing with NWCCU.
The most recent NWCCU action regarding TVCC was in 2025, when NWCCU accepted the College's Fall 2025 Policies, Regulations, and Finances Review (PRFR) report.
Members of the public are invited to send comments directly to NWCCU either online, or through mail to Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities, 8060 165th Ave NE, Redmond, WA 98052. Comments will be accepted through Oct. 9.
