TVCC Launches Strategic Plan to Shape the Future of the College

Ontario, OR — January 22, 2026 — Treasure Valley Community College (TVCC) proudly announces the adoption of its 2025–2030 Strategic Plan, a bold roadmap designed to expand access, advance student success, and strengthen community partnerships across the region.

Developed through extensive collaboration with students, faculty, staff, and community stakeholders, the plan reflects TVCC’s commitment to innovation, inclusivity, and excellence. Guided by the College’s mission and vision, the plan identifies five strategic goals that will drive progress over the next five years:

  • Attracting New Student Populations
  • Streamlining the Enrollment Process
  • Getting Students to the Finish Line
  • Strengthening Community Connections
  • Fortifying Workplace Vitality

“This plan is more than a document—it’s a call to action,” said Dr. Dana M. Young, President of TVCC. “It represents the voices of our community and our shared belief in the transformative power of education. Together, we will ensure that TVCC remains a cornerstone of opportunity and progress for our region.”

Faculty Co-Chair of the Strategic Planning Steering Committee, Dr. Jessica Breidinger, shared: “The development of this plan was truly a collaborative effort. That level of engagement ensures the plan reflects the needs and aspirations of everyone we serve.”

Staff Co-Chair and Director of Advising and Dual Credit, Stephanie Oester, added: “This process brought together voices from across the college to evaluate where we are and where we want to go. The result is a plan that is grounded in shared ideas and collective responsibility for student success.”

The strategic plan was informed by comprehensive research, environmental scans, and input from focus groups and surveys. It outlines measurable goals and objectives to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.
