Ontario, Oregon – Treasure Valley Community College (TVCC) is thrilled to announce a special visit from Dr. Temple Grandin, one of USA Today’s 2025 Woman of the Year, for a series of engaging events on May 27, 2025. Dr. Grandin, renowned for her groundbreaking work in animal science and autism advocacy, will be hosting a speaking engagement for students and Q&A session, a community speaking event, and a book signing at the Meyer McLean Performing Arts Theater.

Dr. Grandin’s visit promises to be an enlightening experience for all attendees. Whether you are familiar with her influential books such as “Different Kinds of Minds,” “Visual Thinking,” or “Temple Grandin’s Guide to Working with Farm Animals,” or have seen the acclaimed 2010 film “Temple Grandin,” this event will offer valuable insights and inspiration.

  • Book Signing: 6:00 PM
  • Presentation for Community: 7:00 PM
